LEADERSHIP

September 28, 2006

In your own words, what do you think a LEADER should be?
What are the qualities of a person that a leader should have?
Who is the leader that you look up to or insipred by?
If you were a leader, what would you do? What would you be a leader of?
What kind of leader do you think […]

I think a leader should be strict but not mean. I think a good leader would get things done and not be mean about it. The qualities a person that a leader should have is to be nice, forgiving, confident in what he/she is doing, helpful, understanding, and much more. I as a person is inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.. He was confident in what he was doing. he helped the white people understand that being a different color doesn’t mean that who ever is black is lower class than white and should be treated like animals. I think Martin Luther King Jr. was a great leader. If I were a leader I would try to make world peace. I would also try to protect nature. I would try my best to help others in pain and do the best I can do at everything I want to accomplish. I would be a leader of trying to help anything living on the planet earth. I think I would be a very helpful leader to enviroment and to the community.

  • What do you think Mary should do?

I think Mary should turn the notes in to the teachers because if she doesn’t the notes will just keep on coming and coming. She’ll just become more hurt every day and it’ll make her wanting to move to another school and making her not wanting to go to school.

  • Would you do the same thing?

Yes I would do the same thing because if I don’t it won’t stop.

  • What do you think would happen to someone in your school who was in Mary’s situation? (I.e. would she get backlash for hooking up with older guys? Would people gossip about her?)

I think who ever was sending the notes would try to get back at Mary.

  • How does gossip play a role in your school, in your community?

Gossip plays a role at my school and community because  if anything interesting happens around my school or community the information spreads out fast, people want to tell thier friends what happened then tose friends that were torld will tell thier other friends and it just keeps on going and going.

  • Have you ever been in a situation similar to Mary’s? How was it resolved?

I have never been in a situation similar to Mary’s.

  • Why do you think people gossip? Have you ever gossiped about someone? Why do you think you did?

I think people gossip because they want to tell their friends secerets and stuff thats going on around them. I have gossiped about someone and I think for the same reason that I wrote in the first sentence.

  • Do you agree with Maria? Do you think she should tell someone about Pam?

No, I don’t agree with Maria because she is talking about her good friend behind her back and that is also none of Maria’s buisness so what if Pam is fat that is the way she wants to be. If she wanted to be slimmer she would be on a diet or doing any type of excersize

  • If so, who do you think she should tell?

I think she should tell another one of Pam and her friends or some type of excersize coach that can help pam get in better shape.

  • What do you think Maria should say if Pam asks her if she told someone?

I think that Maria should tell the truth because lieing to your good friend will just make it worst and it’ll make yourself feel guilty. It’ll just make you from good friends to worst enemies. Not only that it’ll make your friend feel terrible.

  • Have you ever been in a position like this? What happened? Would you make the same choices if you were in that position again?

I have never been in a situation like this.

Friends to fool around

September 13, 2006

Today while we were waiting outside for class six of my good friends were fooling around chasing each other. While they were doing this our teacher came around the corner and caught them playing. I later found out two of them weren’t hoarsing around they were the victims. The other four were playing with them by taking there bags and running away with their bags. I felt bad afterwords because I didn’t stop this from happening. If I stopped them from fooling around they wouldn’t of had gotten in deep trouble.

animusic.com

September 11, 2006

In computer class for the past two days we watched a animated music video that was done all with just a computer. The music and every single detail was so nice and creative. This animated video was so fun to watch I just kept on wanting to to watch it over and over again. I really recommend this video to anyone who likes to animate and do computer art.

If your interested in buying you can take a look at animusic.com

The Personality Test

September 6, 2006

I recently just took a personality test. I agree with some of the results but there are some I don’t agree with at all. I agree with the results on extraversion, agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Open to Experience, but I don’t agree with Neuroticism. I got a high score in all of these but I believe my personality shouldn’t of had been a high score in Neuroticism.

If you want to take this Personality Test go to Personalitylab.org

Should students be allowed to bring cell phones to school?

September 1, 2006

Should students be allowed to bring cell phones to school?

I think students should be allowed to bring cell phones to school but during class they have to be turned off.  Alot of students use their cell phones to call their parents to come and pick them up or if they have to stay for detention or any thing like that. Kids that don’t have cell phones have to keep on bringing quarters to pay to use the pay phone, and if they don’t have any money their friends will have to give them their money and if you don’t have any friends your on your own.

Summer Break

August 29, 2006

This summer break I went to Canada and the States. in Canada we first went to Vancouver we decided to eat dinner at a restaurant and after we were done we went outside waiting to cross the street and all of a sudden a drunk driver hit a pedestrian on the other side of the street that we were trying to cross over to. So after Vancouver we went to the house. At the house we used a dingy and went fishing every day we caught two diffrent type of fish a type of salmon which is called Kokanee- (really tasty) and Rainbow Trought- (also pretty good). One weird thing about that area in Canada is all the animals were very tame. I came within 2ft. of a squriell at lest 3 times and 4 ft. of deer at least 4 times. We did much more in Canada, but now I have to do another writing assignment.
